Florida Action Committee website article:
Florida Senate Bill 932 is on the Agenda to go before the Criminal Justice Committee tomorrow 03/16/21 at 12:30 pm.
SB 932 prohibits a court from granting time-sharing with a minor child to a parent registered as a sexual offender or sexual predator. It literally says timesharing MAY NOT be given to a registrant parent unless a judge makes written finding that the parent poses no significant risk of harm to the child and that time-sharing is in the child’s best interest.

“[floridaactioncommittee.org – 3/15/21] [Note from ACSOL: the bill applies only to registrants in Florida, however, sometimes legislators are swayed by input from those in other states]”
Buy into the time share, visit it once and you will be on the Florida registration. So this applies to all registrants. But again who would subject themselves to FLA.
I wouldn’t step foot in Florida as a registrant visiting, moving or having a layover in the Sunshine State. Florida will find some way to keep in you in their grasp. Instead give the state of Florida the middle finger and spend money elsewhere!!
More affirmative restraint intended.
Lex Luthor had the right idea, but the wrong state! Maybe we could trade Florida for a two third
round draft picks in next years statehood draft.
There’s no mention about how damaging it is for a child to miss one or both parents. These morons are always droning on about protecting children and never ever talk about what’s best for the child. As with most cases, a judge should have to determine if the person is a danger, which would be a very rare finding, otherwise, the person should have normal parental rights.
We have to quit legislating individual events. Any law named after somebody is a red flag that the law
was a knee jerk reaction taken advantage of by a Congress-critter to grandstand for political gain.
But in the end, your average citizen just doesn’t want to live in reality. Most parents don’t want to hear
that their child is in more danger, statistically speaking, at home than anywhere else. Without the truth,
nothing will ever change.
